The result is generative art that's animated and interactive both on your computer and when printed.\n \nBarrier-grid animations are 5-10 frame loops. Slices of the frames are interlaced on one page, and sliding a film over the page animates the loop by exposing one frame at a time.\n\nMotion Pictures executes this concept with some modern twists. The film can be controlled using your mouse or a touch screen device, and a keyboard or midi controller can be used to modify the art. It may not run on older phones and computers.\n\nInspired by Takahiro Kurashima's Poemotion series.\n\nKeyboard controls\n1: toggle between the barrier-grid and live animation\n2: toggle between 2D/3D\n3: Print the art and film at 6\"x9\"\n\nParameter controls\nPressing a key increases the value, and pressing while holding shift decreases it.\nQ, W, and E: Film width, height, and rotation\nA: Animation speed\nS, D, F, G, H:  Parameters for 2D and 3D mode\nZ, X, C, V, B: 3D-only parameters\n\nMIDI Controls\nCC 32-42: Parameters other than the film dimensions\nNotes 32 and 33:  Toggle the animation mode and 2D/3D","script_type":"js@na","project_id":"0","collection_uuid":"56543650-3ae3-4369-8859-7fedca6d0120","engine_type":"studio","image":"https://media-proxy.artblocks.io/1/0x000000637fddcdd459b047897afb3ea46aa6f334/72.png","preview_asset_url":"https://media-proxy.artblocks.io/1/0x000000637fddcdd459b047897afb3ea46aa6f334/72.png","animation_url":"https://generator.artblocks.io/1/0x000000637fddcdd459b047897afb3ea46aa6f334/72","generator_url":"https://generator.artblocks.io/1/0x000000637fddcdd459b047897afb3ea46aa6f334/72","royaltyInfo":{"artistAddress":"0xb981c2ca4682eb4aa5b1856de35b6df385a54da6","additionalPayee":"0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000","additionalPayeePercentage":0,"royaltyFeeByID":5},"collection_name":"Motion Pictures by Neel Shivdasani","collection_owner":"0xb981c2ca4682eb4aa5b1856de35b6df385a54da6","website":"https://neel.sh/motion-pictures/","token_hash":"0xd3650d8171d803394caf9f2e02522c86246cd6d64e67c9b699a6c74113d4ddbd","external_url":"","primary_asset_url":"https://generator.artblocks.io/1/0x000000637fddcdd459b047897afb3ea46aa6f334/72","features":{"Style":"Chunky","Palette":"Jazz Cup","Radiating":"Outward","Default Dimension":"3D"},"traits":[{"trait_type":"Motion Pictures","value":"All Motion Pictures"},{"trait_type":"Motion Pictures","value":"Style: Chunky"},{"trait_type":"Motion Pictures","value":"Palette: Jazz Cup"},{"trait_type":"Motion Pictures","value":"Radiating: Outward"},{"trait_type":"Motion Pictures","value":"Default Dimension: 3D"}],"is_static":false,"license":"CC BY-NC-ND 4.0","authenticity_signature":"0x7cf1e0819c91fe494c7dd39aa6991e8fa09f0c9c2c1e9eff01a92a484269d0c9576d21d9181d179b3cd1cc0ad2fd7becf11da01edb316cce8d29f4d46bcf500e1b"}
